The vet center has plethora resources for vets. My dad is a Vietnam Vet; he was able to go here to find out what he had been battling with to balance his life for over 55 years. He had done such great coping and balancing on the surface, but he started to figure things out, unbury old traumas properly and safely and I see it has lifted stresses and emotions for him that haunted him for over half a century. Great place for combat veterans to get counseling and a plethora of resources. I've gotten a ton of help adjusting to civilian life, navigating a divorce, and I even learned to tie flies and got to go on some amazing fly fishing trips with project healing waters which meets in vet centers nation wide. I highly recommend any combat veteran who needs any mental health or community resources to give them a call.
