Today it has been six months since Dr. Vastey failed to recognize my father's cardiovascular risk for a knee replacement surgery and he died from this simple procedure. My dad was 80, so maybe Florida doctors just don't try as hard when the patient/customer reaches a certain age. I miss him a lot.
***Updated: I am glad only 2 people read this review. It was written immediately after being told I had cancer and I was angry with the world. I took it out on Dr. Vastey and her office and for that I deeply apologize. Dr. Vastey is an excellent physician and has always been there for me...even after reading this terrible review. She gets 4 stars plus a fifth for putting up with me! My lump was found to be cancer...2 types, in 2 different parts of my body. Dr. Vastey has been my primary care physician since 2023. Dr. Vastey is very thorough and cares about your well being. It is easy using the UF Health Portal when communicating with Dr. Vastey and her staff.
