The Music For the Young Child class is terrible – I was really disappointed by the Music for the Young Child class my daughter was taking this summer. It's hardly a music class at all: it's more of a guided one hour fun time with activities that have some vague relation to music (at various times the kids play musical chairs or are read a story which is accompanied by some musical motifs). Great music lessons! – We started with Myriad Music School in 2006. My son took a piano team class with Simone and loved the experience. Since then, my older daughter, who was taking piano lessons at the SF Conservatory, decided to switch to Myriad. It has been great for her - she is learning different styles of music and also systematically learning music theory, both of which the conservatory didn't offer in private lessons. review of Myriad Music School – We came across Myriad Music School by chance in the fall of 2006 and have been enrolled ever since. My older son, at the time almost aged six, initially joined the school?s Music For the Young Child sequence. Best Muscis School the in Bay Area – These are dedicated musicians who love their gift. My children have been going to Myriad for many years and they love it. We have tried many schools and only Myriad made the kids fall in love with music! A+
