Process couldn't be easier. Called customer service to ask a few questions prior to purchase and they were more than happy to help. Plates arrived in about 3.5 weeks to the tax office. I unfortunately didn't get an email notification, but you're able to call the tax office to see if they've arrived. I was eager to get them so I called and they were there. Beware toll violations!! MyPlates sold us a plate that the previous owner had racked up $2,600 in toll fines. TX Tag refused to remove the fines associated with the plate. MyPlates said it wasn’t their problem because the plates could be registered. It’s a free lookup on a website to find out if there are any toll fines but MyPlates doesn’t do that and expects the customer to do their own due diligence. Terrible customer service and experience.

I also ordered my plates in August of 2024. They still haven't arrived and it's May 2025. I've now opened a dispute with my credit card company.

myplates.com is a scam. My husband ordered custom vanity plates in August 2024 and we were charged $570. It is now April 2025 and still no plates! We emailed customer service in November asking for a refund and still nothing. Finally we were able to get ahold of someone who said the refund process could take up to 1 month and they will "work on it". What a joke of a company. save your money and take your business elsewhere.
