Wonderful massage! I have a protruding disc in my lower back and was very comfortable during my full body massage. My back and shoulders felt wonderful. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the final 15 minutes were spent on my head and face, which was nice, but it meant that the front of my body was not worked on. By front, I refer to quads, upper chest into the shoulders and front neck muscles. I regularly visit My Place Day Spa for massages and consider it one of the best massage destinations in the western suburbs. Normally this place is really good, and the staff have always been friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, today’s experience was very disappointing. As soon as we walked in, I was told they were fully booked before the staff member even asked what service I wanted. We were about to leave but she asked what we wanted done, I explained that I only wanted a 20-minute neck and shoulder massage for one person. My experience I paid over $110 for my massage at MyPlace Day Spa in Tarneit, and I felt very disappointed with the treatment. Before the massage, I explained that I wanted my back, shoulders, neck and arms massaged, as well as my face and head. The face and head massage were okay, but my arms were not massaged at all. My shoulders were also missed. My neck was not properly massaged, and my back massage mostly felt like rolling up and down rather than properly working on my sore areas.
