Update in response to My Own Vet reply… Firstly my dog is not called Ruby!!!! My dog has been there more than twice. Secondly, I would never go against medical advice for my pet. If I was told it is in my dog’s best interest for her to have medication, I would have absolutely taken that advice. Yet, every time she saw a vet at your practices, yes we discussed that in future she may require medication but was told no medication was needed at that stage. Although the veterinary care here is bar none fantastic, this is not a clinic that respects your time. I say this sitting here in the office waiting over 30 minutes to be seen, and this is not abnormal. I have had to bring my dog in numerous times for rechecks, consults and a surgery in the past two months and every single time I am made to wait a minimum of 20 minutes, sometimes being passed off to a different vet. 5 or 10 minutes sure - but 20 to 30 is not acceptable IMO. I took my dog on Tuesday evening as an emergency as she was unbalanced when walking. She saw a vet who checked her heart and lungs through a stethoscope. He mentioned again about her heart murmur (which was acknowledged by every vet she saw at this practice over the last couple of years). He stated that she was most likely having a dizzy spell and sent her home. The next day my dog had got worse and I took her to a different vet. I’m very disappointed with the level of care at this clinic. I booked an appointment with my regular vet for a check-up for my cat, and according to the online system, there were several available time slots. However, when I arrived, I was told the vet was too busy to see me despite clearly hearing my vet’s laughter coming from the back of the clinic.
