After going through physiotherapy, shockwave, acupuncture, chiropractic and massage therapies to help aid the pain management of my deep gluteal syndrome (all of which I believe contributed to my healing process), I finally went to see Dr. Roome at the MYO Clinic in Brentwood Bay where she used trigger point tiny needles to address not only residual pain but other areas that were stuck from previous injuries. I would highly recommend this treatment for anyone suffering from chronic pain.
Following a motor cycle accident I had a severe 24\7 migraine. Tried everything --- oxy, morphine, acupuncture, physio, pain clinics, etc. After 2 visits to the MYO clinic pain massively reduced and after the third headache gone. 80 months without ability to go out in the sun without dark and dark glasses and hat, could not drive at night due to car lights without extreme pain and now getting my life back. Thanks to MYO Clinic!
I was a real sceptic about receiving needle injections for pain because I had never had success after Acupuncture in the past . DR Roome was patient in assessing and locating the root of my pain for treatment prior to needle injections. She also educated me in exercises and other helpful tools that would prevent reoccurring pain. I’m very grateful for the care and treatments I’m receiving at the Myo Clinic.
