If you are looking for a good and honest shop, look no further. I have gone to Myler's for over 30 years and will put their shop in better light than any other repair business in the area. With several colleges in town, I would highly recommend Myler's for a new student to the area. Any worried parent can be at ease that the shop will find the problem and fully explain the repair process and costs with your student.
I find this quote from their web page laughable "We are widely known for our honest reputation and quality service". I was treated dishonestly and was ripped off! I went in for something routine and what do you know, they found something that was leaking that cost $750. I had them fix it. I was back 18 months later for another routine job, I believe it was to recharge the A/C. Guess what, they found the exact same leak for $750. We have a Ford truck with over 150000 miles on it, all thanks to Myler Automotive. They have serviced our vehicle since it was purchased, and without them, this poor truck would have seen the land fill years ago. They have always been friendly to deal with, up front and fair in pricing, with no surprises and most importantly, dependable work! That's why we take all our vehicles to Myler and so does all the rest of my family.
best local car repair shop I've dealt with in Champaign/Urbana – If anybody asks me, this is THE place to take your car for repairs. Their honesty is the thing I like best about them. They've never tried to sell me dumb things like the dealership (like changing your brake fluid at 30,000 miles!).
