Im charged $1400 for illegal dumping that occurs before practical completion and site is still under their management. I'm now told to complete payment and receive keys even though some work has not been completed, like shower doors. So now I have to accept an incomplete house, pay in full and have to arrange at my own time access to contractor to come in at a later date to fix shower door. I've had the handover a few months back and been living comfortably in my dream house ever since. Danny and the team were amazing. They were helpful and informative over the course of the build. I received updates from the office staff regularly. Whenever I raised a concern, it was attended to promptly. I was faced with one problematic issue involving another nearby property also in construction. The team helped to resolve the issue with the other builder. This was extra! It’s been incredibly difficult dealing with My Homes WA. To anyone building with them: please make sure you hire an independent inspector. If there are unresolved issues in your inspection report, do not release the final payment. Don’t be swayed by their sweet words, they’ll tell you they’ll take care of everything until the build is complete, but in our case, that hasn’t been true at all.
