I have been coming to Gurnee Eye Care for over 15 years. Even when they switched over to My Eye Dr… I stayed and noticed just recently, as I was trying to order more contacts…. 1. I asked a gentleman in the office to clarify which RX was for which brand. Are they different. His answer…. Yes this is the correct one. Never clarifying. 2. They used to match prices, they now ONLY will do that if you purchase a years worth of contacts. A whole year. So even if you’re just purchasing 1 box that would have 6 months. Please do not go here or bring your kids here. They are not Spanish speaking friendly at all. I called to make an appointment Tuesday for next week. Because we responded to their auto text with a thank you instead of a number to confirm they decided to cancel the appointment entirely and move it to mid December. Over a month away!!!! My children and I have been coming to this location for the past few years. We love our Dr. and the staff is usually pleasant, however, I have recently encountered an unfortunate situation with little regard to the practice. My glasses were ordered after my annual eye exam, and took the standard time to be shipped to the office.
