Dr. Toppae is an extremely friendly, kind, competent doctor. I trust her with my eye health completely. The company's glasses are quite pricey (and my vision insurance isn't great), but her care is excellent.
I came in recently for a new prescription- my old glasses broke and I haven’t had a checkup for about 6-7yrs. It was my first appointment I had made for myself at an eye Dr, and I have quite a few issues with my eyes from lazy eye and astigmatisms, to ONH I was a little nervous since as an adult I had never handled this myself. My Own Eyeglasses Frames Went Missing While Under Their Care I have worn eyeglasses for 16 years and have never had an experience as disappointing and unprofessional as this one.I had an eye exam on December 27, 2025, and purchased contact lenses along with prescription lenses for my eyeglasses. Got charged an extra fee because they did an exam of the back of my eyes, thinking it was part of the exam. I was never advised it would be an extra fee at all. It really makes me mad that when you go to any doctor, they don't tell you all the charges up front and do exams you don't even want. The extra $40.00 was not something I was expecting to pay, and I never wanted that part of the exam at all.
