First time ever going to an eye doctor and I didn't know what to expect, but everyone there was beyond helpful and extremely nice. The doctor was very quick and knowledgeable, and with everyone else the entire experience was painless. I wouldn't mind going back!
Came in due to an eye issue, left being told it was dry eyes. The following day I woke up with terrible eye pain & immediately went to urgent care. They were SIGNIFICANTLY more thorough & discovered I had a corneal abrasion... & aren't even an eye doctor!! Don't waste your time here. Not recommended.
Dr. Filchak and his staff are extremely friendly and professional. I've gotten my vision checked there and always had a pleasant experience. I get my glasses and sunglasses there. I would recommend them to anyone in Southbury or nearby towns for vision care for the entire family.
I have been a customer of this particular MyEyeDr. for several years and have had consistent positive experiences with this business. I had an appointment several weeks ago that went well and I had a routine eye exam and purchased a year supply of Alcon brand contact lenses as I have for the last several years. As part of my year supply purchase I was provided with an Alcon brand rebate form and was told I will receive a $200.00 rebate (pre-paid card) from Alcon once the online submission is complete. I wasn’t going to leave a negative review but after my experience today I had to. Earlier this week I had an appointment with the newly appointed Doctor White. First of all, he got my name wrong. Throughout my appointment he made several questionable remarks to me that I found uncomfortable, such as how I questioned the cost of my medication and how “F” was my favorite letter on the vision board.
