August 2025 Wonderful experience at MyEyeDr Hamden office today. So pleased with my visit everything went of smoothly from booking the appointment to the exam and purchasing my new glasses . The entire staff were very kind and friendly . The Doctor was excellent she was patient and very knowledgeable she explained what was going on with my blurry vision and prescribed a new pair of glasses. Another great experience at MyEyeDr Hamden office. I needed to update the prescription on my spare glasses. I stopped in without an appointment I believe I spoke to Jade. She was so kind and friendly. I explained my situation to her and she called my insurance plan for the benefit they provided for new lenses. She created the invoice I paid and was on my way within a few minutes. She told me they would send me a text when they arrive approximately 10 to 14 days. I have made appointment for myself as well as my son and every time I went in person for these appointments they were not anything in their system saying I had an appointment even verified and showed them that I had an appointment and they steal somehow said there’s nothing showing up very bad customer service. This is the one in Hamden ct So I decided to not go back and find a different eye doctor to go to very poor service. They really need to do something better with their online appointments.
I ordered glasses for my son over three weeks ago and was told they would arrive within two to three weeks. Since then, no update. When I call the office, they keep me on hold with music for a long time, and when I finally reach someone, they immediately transfer me back to hold without trying to help. Completely unprofessional and frustrating experience. I do not recommend going there.
