Thank you Chris!!! My son broke his glasses at school and I thought it was going to be 2 weeks for him to get new frames, lenses, etc. Chris was able to find a similar pair of frames, pop in the old lenses and have us out in under 15 mins. Thanks so much.
This MyEyeDr office is outstanding! The staff is exceptionally attentive. Dr. John takes time to know you and explains everything throughout the exam. Caroline took care of my prescription sunglasses order, explained the different options with regard to insurance and helped me pick out the perfect pair. This place is really terrific!
I had a wonderful experience at MyEyeDr in Hinsdale. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. After my eye exam, I received excellent service. I especially want to thank Sue, who helped me at checkout and went above and beyond by assisting me in picking out frames. She was honest and upfront about what looked good on me, which I really appreciated. Everyone was friendly, but I was disappointed to be charged $39 when I was told the exam would be free. The doctor wanted to take a closer look behind my eye, but unfortunately, I wasn’t informed of the additional cost—neither during the appointment nor while I was there. I only learned about the charge when I was leaving . I believe it’s important to clearly disclose any extra costs in advance and allow patients the choice to accept or decline. I’m on vacation from Michigan and I was in a jam. I called around to a few of the big vision chain stores but they had corporate rules and wouldn’t help me. If you are local I would highly recommend the friendly staff at MyEyeDr. Such a professionally set up store in a great area. Be sure to ask for Erica or Caroline, 5 stars!!!
