I was very disappointed with my experience at this location. I had made an appointment for a new patient eye exam and arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early. I had already completed the online check-in before I arrived. The receptionist that checked me in asked for my insurance card and ID. He had difficulty determining my insurance coverage, which was not a big deal, but while he was doing that he asked me to take a seat while he figured things out. I walked in and received the absolute best service to date. Carlos was stellar in his approach and his knowledge and style suggests were very much appreciated and needed. He was patient and friendly. Kudos to the hiring official that saw something great in him and hired him. He is an asset to My Eye doctors and shoukd be recognized as such… Dr. Simmons was also phenomenal hands down the best eye doctor ever !!!

I went to MyEyeDr in Ellicott City on August 27, 2026, for an eye exam, which went fine. After the exam, I selected two pairs of glasses, regular glasses and sunglasses. I was told when I placed my order (which, of course, is when they take your money) that both pairs would be ready the following week. In fact, the paperwork listed a promised delivery date of September 4. On September 1, I received a message informing me that my glasses were ready for pickup.
