I can't thank Dr. Smeriglio at MyEyeDr in Hunt Valley enough for the outstanding care I received during my recent eye exam. During my visit, Dr. Smeriglio carefully detected a detached retina. As I was leaving work today in the same shopping center as this myeyedoctor, I came across two older gentleman that looked confused and perhaps lost, up by the directory at the top of the escalator. Very familiar with the center, I offered to help. The younger of the two gentlemen says he’s looking for the eye doctor (I’m assuming maybe the older one is his dad but idk) and he shows me his appointment information printed out that clearly states “myeyedr” and the address of our shopping center. I have been going to My Eye Doctor for years, they started as Pearl Vision as part of Sears, followed the doctors to Hunt Valley. Glasses and contacts for 50 years. My last experience was horrible. I tried computer glasses, was upsold a ton of extras. $600 later with insurance, I was handed my glasses, there was no fitting or follow up to check the prescription, just handed them to me and have a nice day.
