I originally left a bad review due to some confusion about my insurance benefits, but I want to update my review after speaking with Faud, who took the time to explain everything and resolve the issue clearly. Felt Scammed and Disappointed I recently visited MyEyeDr with high hopes and left feeling scammed and deeply disappointed. I have insurance and have worn reading glasses for years, but this time I also needed help with everyday vision. When it was time to choose my frames, I was told my insurance only covered frames from a specific tower. For a second pair, I’d receive 40% off any frames from *anywhere else* in the store. After exams and selection of eyewear a representative will prepare order and billing to include collect co pays however I received a bill of a balance owed. When coming to the Hanover location apparently they will not answer any questions about a bill that has been generated for a service. To avoid answering the question they advise to call the number on back of bill. I saw the bad reviews about incompetent staff at the front desk but thought ok I just need an eye exam so I went ahead and scheduled online. Today I received a call and was asked if I had been to Myeyedr before, to which I answered Yes but not this location. The staff on the phone then proceeded to tell me that I had created a different profile and acted annoyed because of that.
