I went into My Eye Dr. in Laurel, MD today to get a repair on my eye glasses and not only was I greeted with kindness but l Ms. Amina was determined to fix my glasses, despite some challenges. I so appreciated the love and professionalism I experienced during my visit. Highly recommend if you’re in the hunt for a place to get the best eye care.

The doctor refused to provide a translator, which I’ve never experienced before at any medical visit. They made it seem as though assisting wasn’t worth their time.

I should have known better. I have never left a review, and I feel I must to warn people. That is how bad and deceptive My Eye Dr is. First, I came here for an eye exam back in late 2024, and the technician SNAPPED my frames in front of me. I should have left then, but the offer of free glasses was too enticing, and accidents happen. So I accepted and purchased a warranty for Frame/S/ and Lenses. (this comes into play later.) 私はこのクリニックを訪れた目的は明確でした。ソフトコンタクトレンズの処方箋を受け取ること。購入は希望しておらず、処方のみをお願いしたかったのです。初回の診察時、その意図ははっきりと伝えました。標準的な検査を受けた後、再度の来院を求められましたが、その時点で少し違和感がありました。理由としては、コンタクト未経験者には「クラス」のようなものが必要とのことでした。 しかし再診の日、そういったクラスは存在しませんでした。代わりに、「強度の乱視と軽度の円錐角膜の可能性があるため、コンタクトレンズは適さないかもしれない」と告げられました。それでも私は、処方箋のみを希望していると改めて伝えました。しかしBethel Yoseph氏はその要望を認めることなく、「何も使用していない状態からコンタクトを使い始める人はいない」と断言し、眼鏡の購入を強く勧めてきました。 その言葉は冷静さを保ちながらも、非常に一方的で、現実を無視しているように感じられました。コンタクトレンズを初めての視力矯正手段として選ぶ人は決して少なくありません。このような状況にもかかわらず、私の希望は繰り返し軽視され、非現実的なものとして扱われました。 最終的には「ハードレンズであれば可能性がある... read more
