I would definitely not recommend Myers to anyone. It’s been over a month and not a single lawyer has reached out to me, despite me following up multiple times. I was told that Avery Sharpe was assigned to my file, but it’s now been about 7 weeks with absolutely no communication. At this point, I’m not even sure if this person exists or if they just don’t care to assist their clients. We sold our house in Winnipeg with Deryk. In general, the service was very good during the sale process, despite the fact that they made a major mistake in the calculations of dollar amounts involved in the transaction. They caught the error and corrected it, ok. I’m mostly disappointed because now, TWO YEARS after the sale was completed, they sent me an email asking me to pay a $130 fee that they had forgotten to charge. I had Matthew represent a family member for a civil litigation case and he was outstanding. He was quick to respond to emails, always direct and efficient, which saved us both time. Additionally, he was friendly and dedicated to resolving the issue at hand. Matthew was upfront about the billing process from the start, and when the matter was resolved, he provided a detailed breakdown of billable hours.
