Had a similar thing happen as a few of these people. Went in for an alignment told me I need over 2,000 dollars of work done. So naturally I quit driving my car ordered all the parts had my fiance whom is a mild mechanic himself start working on it. He couldnt get a bolt off with the tools he had so we took it into a local shop and the said NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY SUSPENSION. Went in to get a front end alignment. They told me I had to replace so many things in my car for them to do so and quoted me 1,400 dollars for all the work. I said I can't afford that and I would have my dad take it to his usual guy that fixes my car. They literally said "So you're probably going to take it to a mechanic then?" IS THAT NOT WHAT YOU GUYS ARE? Evidently not. In the end I only needed 2 new front tires, a new sensor, and paid $250 for it.
We were towing our RV with our Jeep through Michigan on our way to Montana when we began to infrequently smell burning oil and noticed a leak. We arrived at Myers For Tires unannounced the next morning and explained our situation to Bill. Bill jumped right on our situation, having the company’s head mechanic inspect our Jeep’s engine and correctly identify a need for a new oil pump.
