The commercials for MyComputerCareer constantly advertise that you can get into IT with no experience. I’m tired of them spamming that commercial on every radio station to the point where I know it by heart. In my opinion, that message is misleading because the actual IT job market does not work that way. I recently joined a computer training center and had a very positive learning experience. The institute provided a professional and supportive environment that made learning new computer skills both comfortable and enjoyable. From the first day, the staff and instructors were welcoming, helpful, and focused on helping students succeed.
The biggest scammers out there! Please do not use them to further your education. I called the school today to get more information about their programs, which led me to an admissions advisor named Raelene. I listened to the presentation, and she offered to sign me up for FAFSA to see how much I would receive. I agreed, only to later find out they actually signed me up for a loan!
