I would like to offer a higher review - especially for the staff who were very helpful and professional, but cannot. This facility recently changed their check-in policy to “computer terminal” check-in only - no friendly faces! And, their HEALOW PORTAL SYSTEM IS TERRIBLE! I am computer literate, but unable to access my portal because the system will not allow me to locate my physician, make appointments, or communicate no matter how many times I’ve tried to access it. I would like to commend a member of the Referrals Department. Here name is Sherri Zwiebel. My Nurse Practioner referred me to a hand specialist. When Sherri was preparing the referral for me, she called the doctor's office and discovered that this particular doctor did not work on hands. She conducted her research and compared other hand specialists in the area to my insurance carrier and found a hand specialist that accepts my insurance. I've had nothing but an excellent experience throughout my years as a patient at My Care Medical. I truly appreciate the great customer service from the front desk and staff throughout the facility. Even when I've had complaints, they get resolved! I must also express my gratitude to Sarah ford, Laura and Brian In Physical Therapy for guiding my knee replacement rehab to It's maximum potential!
Went today for a follow up visit for my blood work. Was advised when making the appointment I would have a new doctor - Dr Susana Perez Diaz. Like most places show up early for check in and complete paperwork. My appointment was for 11am and after 35 minutes I was still waiting and it appears it was going to be another 20 minutes. How come doctors office tell you to be early when they are running like 1hr behind and it’s not even lunch time. This is so unprofessional and just rude. This USED TO be my favorite Doctor. Dr. Appleblatt was amazing. But I guess now she only sees Medicare patients? I have severe pneumonia and I’m literally bedridden. I called to schedule an appointment and the girl On the phone was short and rude I didn’t seem to care to help. Her monotoned And sarcastic responses For just asking to see a doctor.
