Every years is a damm Challenge to even get ahold of these people with 14 numbers to call if you happen to find the right number your hung up on. Not worth the Hassle
I needed help with rent. They refused to help me.
This place is horrible and people are nasty. I'm 60 and dying of cancer. My furnace broke been calling these people for 2 weeks for help I live alone with only SSI. They made me pay $300 to gas company because their energy assistance payment was late and I had no income was in chemo. Had to beg someone I hadn't seen for years to pay it now the person won't even speak to me. Gas company wouldn't put me on low income payment until it was paid. These people don't seem to understand the words cancer and no income.
The Employment Skills and Training Program is fantastic. They helped me with my resume, interviews and assisted me with finding a great job.
They make you schedule to come in and sit and wait for the appointments you already scheduled why even bother shouldn't be a three hour wait for anything ridiculous!
All partners involved was an inspiring event and challenge to new horizons of my life, allowing me to work at a level of existence and to guide my time as I identify myself as a gender, to get involved in the community and to give back as much as I can and to open doors for others who want to get back into society as we have it today.
Please keep Head Start open. Our kids need a Education.
