Maintenance emergency with elevator locked at 1030p on Labor Day and maintenance was here in 30 minutes. Bathrooms are beautiful, parking seems safe as long as you keep your vehicle bare, price is high but so are homes.
Previously, I had left a genuine good review for My Place Group. Management used to be responsive and I'd never had an issue with maintenance. However, in the weeks before I left Franklin West, they became almost entirely unresponsive. The bad reviews are all true, avoid renting here if you can. Over the course of living here for 15 months we have had working AC and heating for less than half. Ohio Tenant Law states that heating must be provided, and yet, during the winter months we were without heating and into the spring without AC. To their very minor credit they did offer us $200 off on account of "disruption of the AC installation", even though we had requested $500/month for 3-months that the AC and Heat were not working. Not well maintained.
Cheaply made, apartment is still under construction and it was promised to be finished months ago (rooftop, pool, locker room, several units, and room behind office is still unfinished four months after I signed my lease). Staff is awful, doesn't respond to complaints, texts, emails, or phone calls. Jocelyn is incompetent and so is Candace.
