Dr. Bilal and the staff at My Pediatrician are phenomenal. She has cared for both of my girls from birth to 4 years and 10 months. The team has responded to every question and concern promptly and with kindness. They are respectful of your wishes as a parent and advocate for what is best the health of your children. We are moving soon and I will miss being a part of this practice and hope we can find a place comparable.
No bedside manner at all if your child is autistic or disabled I would not recommend taking them here. The doctor would not even talk to my son. He is scared of new doctors and she made the experience so much worse for him by not even acknowledging him or saying hello to him, acted like he wasn’t there. So of course when she went to try to check vitals he was terrified. Then recommended we pull him out of school and into ABA after spending all of 5 minutes with us. Awful.
I scheduled an appointment for today at 3:00 PM. My son was called back within about five minutes, which I appreciated. They took his height and weight and put us in a room around 3:10 PM. After that, we sat there waiting until about 3:35 PM and the doctor still hadn’t come in. At that point, I went to the front desk to ask what was going on. I booked a sick visit for my son early this morning due to vomiting and cough. Since our regular pediatrician was unavailable, we were scheduled with another doctor.Our appointment time was 1:15 PM, and we arrived on time. As of 2:10 PM, only his weight has been checked, and we are still waiting to see the doctor with no clear update on how much longer it will take.I stepped away from my work to bring my sick child for this appointment, so such long delays without communication are very frustrating.
