While visiting St. Louis, we were so excited to discover a Haitian restaurant nearby! We decided to try My Marie Restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We were immediately impressed by the incredible variety of authentic Haitian dishes on the menu. We ordered the Groit, tasso, rice, and beef patties, and everything was absolutely delicious! I ordered the griot (fried pork) with rice and beans and collard greens, and everything was honestly delicious! This meal took me back to my time living in Florida and reminded me of home. The collard greens were seasoned so well, and the rice and beans were just as flavorful. The only thing I would say is the griot could have been a little more tender, but overall, I really enjoyed my meal. I’d give the experience an 8/10, and I’ll definitely be back! 🇭🇹❤
Really chill vibe, stopped by with a coworker who's very particular about his Haitian food. And after a heavy taste test that place slaps like a slap contest...
Yeah, she need to go ahead and close this down. Waited an hour after ordering my food to find out nothing was ready and that they were all out of stock of half of what I ordered and then the other portion was going to take an additional hour 😂😂😂
The food was really good but it took over an hour to get.
