We had taken our Tilly to My Local Vet for her puppy vaccinations and the team was so warm, professional, and caring. But today, they went above and beyond. Tilly decided to play with a bee and had a scary anaphylactic reaction. I called hoping for an urgent appointment and got a voicemail saying the team was in training, but to come straight in for emergencies. We recently moved to the area and we're anxious about finding a reliable and caring vet for our dog Orange. Yesterday he develop an abscess on his paw. The team at My Local Vet were able to fit him in quickly and operate that same day. The place is modern with all the appropriate gear for anaesthesia which put us at ease knowing our dog was safe and well looked after. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you very much Dr Charlie and team for looking after Orange so well!
Dr Sam, Dr Rachel and all the staff are so caring. Dog parents are kept up to date when doggies are in for surgery. Separate entry and waiting area for dogs and cats. Georgie loves going to see them. Maybe it is the treats she gets.
The staff at My Local Vet honestly feel like friends to me. They (quite literally) know my cats inside and out. It shows their commitment to care that they remember small details about not just the animals but their owners too. I’m a bit late to post a review after years attending now, but the past fortnight has gone to show that no matter which vet or nurse you speak to, they are all wonderful people. Was a really good service, very professional, clean and welcoming feeling for our first time here after moving from the north side. But thier prices are a little too high.
