Not stroller or wheelchair friendly! MLC on Coberg is not accessable to those with physical handicaps or those with strollers. I've seem mothers with strollers inable to acess most parts of the store and the very young employee behind the desk never offers to help. Often the employee is steaming or sorting used clothes and not engaging with costumers at all. My Little Children is not worth the time I wouldn't bother going into my little children. I think they are way over priced and dont have a great selection at all. I went in there and was looking at onesies, they were selling one for $6 that had stains all over it. I went there to trade some really cute baby girl clothes that I had. The manager wasn't nice at all. She was going through the clothes I brought in and scrutinizing them, I could tell by how she was looking at them. Just what I needed with how the economy is! Went to My Little Children on River Rd. and it was great! I was with my mother and she told me about this store that has this sale each month call the quarter sale(everything was actually a quarter). The store seemed over ran, but that must be a good thing when it is a sale! Will come back again.
a review from someone who gets paid to do it I am also a father of twins...And unlike John who has put down this store...I actually feel that it is cleaner then any other store out there that is a resale, and I have been to most of them(since part of my job is to do a real review). My Little Children is Awesome!! I think that My Little Children is a great resale store. They are particular about what they take in trade and that is a good thing. When you are going to buy something you know that you can find quality name brand clothing there. The prices have recently seemed lower than in the past and the manager Barbie is great. Horrible customer service, rude owner. I went in to the store for the first time today and had a horrible experience. I walked in and was not greeted or acknowledged whatsoever. The owner was sitting there with two other ladies, I'm not sure if they were employees, or friends because they were just sitting there chatting, while I was ignored. Great locally owned kids store! I have shopped at both stores, and I love it! The cclothes are priced at a great low price. And that is why I know that when I sell my stuff there, that they are very pickky, and when they give you trade credit. And when people reviewing and complain about this, I just have to laugh. Comparable to the other resale stores Nice Looking Store, Kind of small and stuffed. I bought a diaper bag the price was about the same as the other baby stores I looked at in Springfield. The lady at the counter did make negative comments on the other used stores around when I told her that I shopped over there first. I didn't much care for that but I like to shop all the resale places so I will shop there again.
Their prices keep going up & worse service! I havent shop there very much anymore nor my sister. Alot of there items are the same price as a brand new item's and there used toys prices are insane and some are in not very good shape at all or dont work. They have a big selection for babies but not much at all for toddler and kids. The store has gotten worse over the years.
