John is a local legend for good reason. Supremely helpful and knowledgeable...he's the man to speak with when you're looking to build or upgrade your system
I took my turntable to John to be calibrated and optimized. What I got in addition to a drastically improved listening experience was an afternoon of companionship, fascinating tidbits of industry and product knowledge, and a very nice espresso. My dad and I had a wonderful time hanging out with John, never mind the elevated listening experience from my turntable. One day, I plan to take you up on your offer to come back and listen to some tunes!
I recently purchased my first hifi system from John. Being very new to the hobby, John was really helpful in explain everything a lot. There was never any pressure to buy, but when I was ready, he was very helpful in putting together a good system for my needs at the budget provided and included the delivery and helped me set it up. I will definitely be going back when it comes to adding and/or upgrading components.
This hidden Audio Shop in the heart of Toronto is worth visiting. I brought my REGA P10 for fine tuning. The result is outstanding - I am now hearing instruments that never existed on my previous setup. John you are one of a kind plus with a big heart.
