After completing my hearing test, the audiologist and I agreed that and Oticon five was the best solution. He quoted a price of $5500. I am covered by United healthcare advantage plan which has a maximum co-pay for hearing aids of approximately $2500. When I asked the audiologist about applying the $2500 to the $5500 he gave me some song and dance about UHC not covering this transaction.
