When I first joined this gym, I was told I’d pay a startup fee and then my normal membership rate would start the next month. That sounded fair, so I signed the paperwork. What I wasn’t told is that they would take the startup fee and a full month’s payment at the same time. On top of that, they hit my account again in the middle of the month.
