I have never felt more embarrassed or hurt. I visited Dr. Mehdi today regarding influenza and also requested a prescription refill for my antidepressants, as I was running low. My treating psychiatrist had provided a letter authorizing other doctors to prescribe them. However, Dr. Mehdi stated that I was “too complex” and refused to assist with anything beyond cold and flu symptoms.
