Got braces taken off 5 years ago, wore retainer two years as they stated. Teeth shifted immediately and now my retainer does not fit anymore :( forever smile my butt

I had an orthodontic appliance (retainer) made in December 2024. The retainer fit well on right side but was causing pain to left side and disturbing my sleep. I figured it was new and required some getting used to. Unfortunately, it still felt uncomfortable.
