My Family Birth Center has been an amazing experience! I’ve had two previous births both being at a hospital. Each experience was not great. I never felt supported by the hospital staff. When I was first pregnant with my third baby I had my first appointment with an OB who delivers at the hospital. I felt like what I wanted did not matter…I was not being heard in the birth I wanted. They always do a good job. Their facility is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The midwifes are always very nice, and supportive. They do your prenatal care, birth and a couple of visits postnatal. Having the option to buy natural supplements from is also nice. Having options for naturaly birthing is great. Especially a tub birth, to assist with laboring and tear prevention. After birth my husband and I got a meal, and a cute card with the baby's foot prints.
I had the best experience here! From day one, Loretta and the team of midwives were so supportive. I had some bleeding through my entire first trimester due to a hematoma and they always assured me as a first time mom through this and with every "odd" thing my body was doing. There is never a wait when you go for your appointment, they are all very knowledgeable, professional, and are able to put you at ease! I had my first baby this year and had the most beautiful experience! The staff were so amazing and so caring and I just love them! The birth was so peaceful and comfortable and they really go above and beyond to make sure that your needs are being met. I will recommend my family birth center to anyone who would like to have their baby at a birthing center!
I can't even explain my deepest gratitude I have for My Family Birth Center. I came here with past trauma from birthing at a hospital 5 times previously. I knew with my next baby that I had to do something different. We were so relieved that they took insurance but even if they didn't I would have gone ahead and paid out of pocket anyway.
