I walked in and was immediately greeted by Violetta. She was so kind and helpful and immediately called a nurse to assist me in my decision. She walked me through the registration process quickly and made sure I understood everything. I was then helped by an amazing nurse Vicki Patton who went above and beyond to help me and get me relief. It was truly an amazing experience with such wonderful ladies that showed true compassion. I am extremely disappointed with our recent experience at this ER. My autistic son fell from playground equipment and needed an X-ray. Shortly after we were brought to a room, Dr. Brooks physically restrained my son to examine his ear. He then informed me that my son would need sedation for the X-ray. I agreed to a mild oral sedative, hoping it would allow the imaging to be completed with as little stress as possible. After some time, it became clear that the medication had not fully taken effect. My experiences with Emergency Rooms have usually been good, but this time, the kindness and professionalism of the receptionist on duty that afternoon was only the beginning of an exceptional experience. Brenda, who was my nurse, is one of the kindest, most dedicated, and professional healthcare workers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. My son has been there since 4am today and let me tell you, the staff and the Physician were on it. They even fed us lunch on them. They are taking very good care of him and he is in good hands. They answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable. They show their compassion for the patient. Highly recommend to go there before you go to Hendrick (just saying).
