Smiles at Hunters Creek is misleading the community with their mail-out offer. The coupon advertises a $79 Cleaning, ************* but when you call to schedule, you're told there are required additional charges $40 for fluoride and $50 for a cancer screening. These add-ons are not optional, which means the actual cost is $169, not $79.Lets be honest if the real price is $169, thats what should be advertised. I called Farabee Family Dental and spoke with **** and then *******, the office manager. I politely asked to be taken off their mailing list for advertisements. ******* said my request was nonsense and she wouldn't take me off the list for their marketing company. She said I should just throw the ad away if I dont want to put it on my fridge. When I asked for the contact information for the marketing company, she wouldn't provide it. On 12/12/2024. I had a claim with no deductible and no co-pay for $1500.00. I was told it would be no cost for a crown and cleaning. When I got up to the front desk I was asked for 161.00. I tried explaining that it this claim was already settled. With that the office staff got offensive and wanted to justify their prices. I was treated last year for a root canal which never fully healed. This resulted in a failed root canal and was forced to get retreatment from a specialist. This forced me to come out of pocket as the "Failed" Root canal the prior year used my insurance and thus causing me to pay an additional 1500 out of pocket for the same treatment. This medical practice is not willing to work with me on continued services by providing some sort of discount due to their failed procedure. I had been going to Oak Hills Dental Care for about 3 years. My previous experience was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Dr. ********* assistant, Rita was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. She constantly laughed as I was explained the situation with my tooth, and unprofessional with the service she rendered. She talked to the staff very rudely and in an unprofessional manner. Her behavior is intolerable, and I won't be returning.

This office had me apply for credit through ***, then charged for services I did not receive. The “treatment plan” consisted of 4 visits, but they charge the total amount to my account after only one visit. They also charged more to the account than I even applied for and way more than their estimated cost. I went to 2 of the 4 visits, yet they charged over $2,000 to the account with included services I did not receive. I would NOT recommend this office to anyone. They are a scam.

Never showed me X-rays about my cavities, lied about having amalgam fillings until after I paid (they do not), only numbed one side of my face and filled two teeth on the side that wasnt numbed, let me aspirate on my own saliva and then tried to keep me down while I was choking - now is saying I didnt pay my bill when I paid in full the day BEFORE the procedure. I would email them all my receipts and statements proving this, but emails keep getting kicked back. Terrible business, nearly criminal.

Worst experience, do not go here! The Dentist retired and brought this Dentist that doesn't have any compassion for his patients and not so great, had my crown replaced so many times, kept sending it to the lab. The Dentist Dr. ******* didn't look approachable, have his assistants do the job for him.
