My great grandmother has been cared for by My Companionship, and honestly, they’ve been amazing. The carer is so caring and really understands her needs, always showing up on time and with a kind heart. It’s great to know someone is just a call away 24/7 whenever we need help or have questions. Huge thanks to Rosie, the care manager, who’s been wonderful at keeping everything running smoothly and making us feel supported. I’m really happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone looking for great home care.
I did not realise I did not mention Nish or Nickey in past reviews. Overall each staff member in their own way has been supportive , emphatic and compassionate. I have found Nish also being a nurse is a bonus. Both medical and personal. Forever busy if not urgent it may take a couple of days but always hears you and gets back to you. My Companionship have been my mother’s final carers for 2 or so years after leaving another brand hoping for a better experience. We joined MC early in their establishment which I wouldn’t normally consider but meeting one of the principal managers I was immediately at ease with the care package. I was looking for a new provider, as my council-run one was very loth to spend my money. The first contact I had with "My Companionship" was interesting to say the least. They said yes to two of the things that my former provider had knocked me back on. I have been with them for some months now and find that they understand that disabled people have different needs from the others, and are willing to spend to fulfill those needs. I could not be more pleased to have chosen My Companionship as my husbands provider. His support worker Naomi is a lovely lady who not only cleans the house along with changing beds and does the washing, but also takes him out for coffee and shopping. She has surpassed all our expectations. Dip, our Care Manager, has been marvellous in helping us decide which services we need. I highly recommend them to anyone looking into choosing which provider to go for.
