Had my fuel pump rebuilt and when I installed the pump the fuel pressure is in excess of the 4.5 psi specification causing fuel to pour from the top of the carburetor. Contacted My Classic Car Trader but they ignored my concerns even though I told them I reinstalled my old fuel pump and didn't have an over-pressure issue. There is a known issue with Carter fuel pump rebuild kits causing over-pressure. Choose your fuel pump re builder wisely.

They rebuilt my fuel pump for my 1957 Thunderbird. Looked great and worked great although only driven twice since installed. They called to let me know what was wrong with it prior to rebuild and had it back in a weak. When they told be the vacuum side (Dual Action Pump) for the wipers was broken . I researched on line and found the car had the vacuum lines reversed from before I bought the car. So great they noted the issue so I did not reinstall them reversed. Really courteous staff.

I can not say enough good things about the fuel pump service. Quick turn around. Beautiful workmanship. It was so pretty I hated to use it but I did and it works flawlessly.
