This was one of the worst braiding shop experiences I’ve ever had. Where to begin—When first I walked in, they barely acknowledged me, and then gestured for me to sit down. Second, I asked for them to wash my hair, and their sink doesn’t even work— so they boil their water and then pour it over their clients heads instead. They burned my scalp doing this. I had a very disappointing experience. The hair quality was extremely poor, and the service was neither friendly nor helpful. This was immediately apparent after getting my braids done. I paid $340, and unfortunately, the braids look so bad that I’m taking them out after just three days. I would not recommend this salon. I flew from LA to NYC and was hoping for a much better experience. Save your time in your money and do not go here! Listen to all the other reviews this is the worst braiding experience I’ve ever had in New York City! Not only where my braids done sloppily, I paid over $300 to get Braids done that came out within the week and the customer service is nonexistent when I asked for a refund or a solution. They seem to blame everything on you!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Listen to the people who are commenting not to! I recently went on August 9th after seeing this video and was EXTREMELY disappointed. I contacted them before hand, supplied them with what I wanted, and was thrown through a loop. The owner had me travel to one location and while omw tell me to go to the other. Terrible experience at this place. Had an appointment for pick and drop braids, I provided reference photos, talked to multiple workers about the style I wanted. They said they could do it & proceeded to give me just regular boho braids. And I wouldn’t even call them boho braids because they weren’t even that nice. I don’t understand the theory behind saying you can provide a certain style and then not being able to. They can only do regular knotless or their variation of boho braids.
