MVS has been the best clinic I’ve been to. Angelica is just so great throughout the trauma therapy I’m currently having. The receptionists are always so lovely too.
I'm only giving 1 star because I can't give none. I would not recommend MVS psychology to anyone. My 15 yo daughter presented here post suicide attempt and after 3 sessions, without any prior discussion with me, and following a brief and what I consider to be an extremely unprofessional discussion in front of my daughter, was hand-balled by the therapist to someone else within the practice, causing my daughter to feel abandoned and escalating her issues, causing further distress and harm, from which she still has not recover... read more
The way David Dooley has spoken about others' personal issues in the google reviews makes me very uncomfortable. I have never seen anything like this before and it is concerning as a client that David may access my notes in order to use them against me in a google review. It's absurd. Psychology deals with real people and their feelings. Have some compassion if you are going to join this industry or choose something else.
I felt exploited by this company to be honest and would recommend others look elsewhere for support. David Dooley you are breaking confidentiality by talking about what others have discussed in a therapy session in an online review and the blaming of the client in the previous review is also out of line. I suggest you go back into finance and stay out of the helping professions.
Thank you MVS for your ongoing kind and thoughtful help working through my trauma. I'm very grateful to have been referred to you - you've helped me come to understand some fascinating aspects of personality types including my own, and gain new perspective in a very safe and warm environment.
