MVP quietly disenrolled my mom (no call, no letter) right after we told them we were getting a lawyer. We only found out when she was turned away at her neurologist. She was cut off from all care for a month and then suffered a stroke on Sept 4, 2025, days after reinstatement, and she was only reinstated because NYS Department of Health and to step in and correct it. Without any notice to us, MVP Health Plan quietly requested the disenrollment of my elderly mother with dementia from her Medicaid managed care plan. No phone call. No letter. No warning. We only found out when she was turned away at her neurologist’s office because her insurance had been quietly canceled. I wish I could give MVP 0 stars. They denied my disabled brother of his much needed services. A joke of an insurance company.
