These guys are scammers. I would recommend everyone avoid them and get your insurance from somewhere else. I took out a policy with them, tried to log onto their mobile app, and it didn’t even recognize me. So I called them and canceled my policy when they assured me, the policy was still pending approval. Then they tried to bill me after it had been canceled. So I had my bank reject it. STOP ADVERTISING NOW BOYCOTT MUTUAL OF OMAHA SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS
Save your money and do not buy their garbage Hospital Indemnity policy. They sell this coverage claiming it protects you for pregnancy and childbirth, but it's totally deceptive. If you get pregnant before the January 1st start date, they hit you with a 'pre-existing condition' excuse and refuse to pay out a dime. It is a terrible policy from a company that will look for any excuse not to pay. Don't bother giving them your business.
I talked to Alisha and sent her an email saying to cancel my policy. This was November 2025. Now it is January 2026 and still am being charged. This a garbage agency. I am working with an attorney to see what we can do.
They only care about money. It's been 2 months since I've been off in my job uses them for short-term disability and the lady says she's called me so many times and she hasn't and they go based on what could be because I didn't have a diagnosis and now it's just a different story on why they won't pay short-term disability.
