We have had multiple vehicles in the Norris shop during and after the transition from Mutrux, and I have had numerous interactions with Patrick, the new owner. They continue to provide superior service at prices below what the dealerships offer, and it is really handy to have a single source for fast and reliable repairs across more than one brand of vehicle. They are my go-to repair shop, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an auto mechanic in the Columbia area.
Amazing experience. Wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff. Honest technician that explained things well and didn't pressure to do extra work. Even helped fix something without just replacing it. Prices are reasonable. Fast and efficient service. Would recommend and will definitely be back.
I moved to a house a few blocks away. I read reviews saying they were expensive and thought, I can afford to pay extra for excellent service. Well, that's not how it worked out. I've been there several times. They are very friendly and they mostly know what they are doing, but they charged me to a degree that is off-putting. Absolutely awful place to go for your car. All they care about is taking your money. Terrible customer service, the woman at the front desk was so rude on the phone and the mechanic was treating me like I was stupid. $150 just to test my alternator and they quoted me $1200 before tax to get it fixed. I felt so uncomfortable talking to them after my first interactions that my dad came up to tow my car out of that place so I could get it fixed at a reasonable price that wasn’t going to treat me poorly. I realized while I was sitting in their waiting area that I have never reviewed Mutrux. I have been coming here off and on since Ross and Cindy took it over more than 20 years ago. Mostly for a tank of gas, but also for service on my vehicles and my family’s vehicles.
