This is a cabin park, not a van park! We stayed one night as we needed a powered site, having previously been off grid, and didn’t want to risk not getting a powered site at the show grounds. Well, the powered site we were given was not really a site. There was a power box some distance away, and no defined site. There was no provision for grey water disposal, and no dump point on site. Really enjoyed my stay here, staff welcoming and friendly. Convenient location too
Won't show you rooms prior to paying. $15 for your own linen (which isn't specified anywhere) $470 for a room without a tv, a box air-conditioner that couldn't cool the room and the floor boards had screws and nails hanging out of it not to mention the paint clearly thrown over the fence into the neighbouring lake/creek. All of this with a zero refund policy! Even though you had walked in and only dropped your bags inside within 30 mins. Workmate got nauseous spins from "freshly renovated room" which had only been painted.
Room dirty, run down, dodgy. They didn't tell me I had to bring my own linen, it is only that I saw someone else review, that I asked about linen, and even then we only got half what we need for a family of 4. We slept well there, it was quiet. If it's your only option, go for it, or if you don't mind a dodgy place. The forgot to turn power onto hot water system, so we had cold showers too in our ensuite. I don't think it is well run. They are renovating some rooms.
Moved up here last week for work every one in the park is friendly and A in the office is all over everything and a top bloke trying to help out with everything he can definitely recommend for work or passing by in a caravan 👌
