Dr. Akbiek is a great doctor, very thorough and knowledgeable.
We will not be returning to see this doctor. My mom had a visit with him today, he was not patient, did not listen. Almost seemed like a money machine checking people in and out without acknowledging the patient’s concerns and just wanting to getting them in and out of his office

Dr Akbiek listens well and asks pertinent questions. He certainly covers the pulmonary issues, but he also will advise on general health issues if he sees something in the patient's chart that should be a cocern- even if it's not directly related to his field. In my opinion, this indicates care for the patient as a whole. He is thoughtful, caring and kind.
Professional, thorough, personable. Is caring, compassionate and listens to the patient. If you’re looking for a Pulmonologist, this professional is the best in my opinion. All of his staff are courteous, helpful, and considerate. Megan is remarkable. She makes sure all of the documents necessary and test results necessary are ready prior to your visit. From the time you set an appointment, you’re getting the best care quality of care in Naples.
