There must always be another sucker that they are still in business. After being told not to go here I tried getting my outboard reverse fixed. They said it was done so I picked it up and went to Blue Marsh only to find it still didn't work. (The forward/reverse gear was stripped which another shop found later and I had told them I think was wrong) I called in to complain and agree with all the other reviews that this is the " grumpy old man shop who hates people"
These guys are excellent! Very efficient and professional work. They have my OB 2 stroke perfectly tuned and running better than ever. friendly and affordable. So happy they are only 10 mins from my new house. Marine shops like this one are a rarity.
UPDATE (6/21/2020): Called to see status of boat, was told numerous people quit and down on staff which is not an excuse. They said last week it would be completed, still not done. They had this boat for well over a month and didn’t get to use it at all yet. Never using this place again. Will be calling one last time Monday and requesting for it to be done by Thursday and if it isn’t I’m going to pick it up to take it to an actual professional shop! I brought my 2 seadoo jetskis in multiple times, they always have the shortest lead time (only couple days) compared to other shops (multiple weeks) so it's a no-brainer if you want your boat or jetski finished within a week. Musser's has replaced a gauge cluster, oil pump, oil pressure sensor, and fixed a battery draining issue to name a few out of both skis. Always responsive and explained things correctly, don't charge much for parts, as for labor, I think it's safe to say no mechanic nowadays charges 'cheap' labor. Great... read more
