Dear Management, I am writing to sincerely raise some concerns regarding two of your nursing staff. During my visits on different days, particularly during the daytime, I witnessed how they treated the residents, and I am troubled by their behavior. My mother lives at Muskoka Hills Retirement Villa, and I just wanted to say how great it’s been seeing the positive atmosphere there. The new General Manager has brought a really welcoming energy. It means a lot knowing my mom is in a place where people genuinely care about the residents and take pride in what they do. Definitely gives our family peace of mind!
Lived there for 2 hellish years.. this place needs to be taken over by someone who actually cares. Nurses were leaving in the middle of the night…. They went through staff like water! Residents are treated very poorly. Place needs a good Reno! I had food stolen off me by the staff! During Covid we were locked up like a prison. Food I bought had to be kept and sprayed for 24 hours… of which they helped themselves to my cashews! Thieves! Especially the director of care! I was told about the rats in the kitchen! This has got to be the worst retirement home. I don't understand how it has not been closed down.
My parents love it there. It has been 6 months now. Great place for walks, sitting on the balcony and good food and friends. Thanks Muskoka Hills
