I’m so over Musicbed. They lock you into a one year agreement and refuse to cancel it. It’s an incredibly expensive subscription and now I’m stuck paying for crappy music
Buyer beware. I signed up and within the same week my clients were not happy with the music and the copyright strikes on YouTube on their video. It made me look like an idiot because I told them there would be none. Customer service denied cancelling the service even though it had only been active for 1 out of the 52 weeks. I’ve been a loyal customer of Musicbed for 3 years and have paid over THREE THOUSAND dollars for their services over the years. However, based on my recent experience with their cancellation and billing practices, I strongly urge anyone considering Musicbed to look elsewhere. Their auto-renewal policy is straight up predatory. Offering only a tiny window to cancel, practically ensuring customers get looped into another full year of service with not option to opt out until the following year 30 days before. Will never try Musicbed again. Signed up for a free trial and after it was up, they locked me into a year long contract. I've always used Epidemic Sound and wanted to try something new. ES is so much better and don't lock creators into year long contracts!
Buyer Beware - individual track creator licenses does not clear you from using the track ad-free in your youtube content, and only “lets you use it” according to their terms. Buying an individual track license (which is around $200-300) will NOT prevent your youtube video from being claimed by the music creator. If you want your videos to be ad-free, you’ll have to buy a yearly license to their library as opposed to their individual track licenses.
