I have taken a few lessons with John as a beginner self taught drummer and he got me on the right track to work on my fundamentals and highly improve my drumming. I would recommend him for any level, his online lessons are super useful too if you prefer learning at your own pace but also are great to combine to the in person classes.
John is one of the best musical teachers I've ever had in my life. Great focus on fundamentals and the focus on steady progression is well suited to an adult learner long myself. Check it out!
