I live in a neighboring state, in an area that does not offer music box repair, and I found Mr. Don Caine's services online. We communicated over email very easily. Don was prompt and informative in his communication. He offered a very reasonable rate. I shipped my item, which did not play or wind up, and he repaired it within the week. Don was very communicative, and extremely knowledgeable. He repaired the movement from a family heirloom that had not worked for at least 25 years. I would trust him completely with any music box service/repair.

Excellent service on an unusual request. I had an antique toy sewing machine with a Thorens music box that played Blue Danube. They aren't made anymore but Don located one of the correct size and tune and replaced it in my little toy. He was a pleasure to work with.
